This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking pixels. Browsing our pages, reading about a product or sending us an enquiry does not place a marketing cookie on your device, which is why you are not met with a consent banner.

One strictly necessary cookie exists — the sign-in session for our own staff — and some embedded content from other companies can set their own. Both are described below.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise the browser later. Related technologies — local storage and session storage — do much the same, and are covered by this policy wherever they are mentioned.

Strictly necessary — staff session

• Purpose — keeps an authorised member of Vijaya Dairy signed in to the administrative panel that manages products, news and enquiries.
• Who gets it — only someone who signs in at /login. It is never set on a public visit.
• Properties — HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite, and scoped to this domain. It cannot be read by JavaScript and carries no advertising identifier.
• Life — cleared on sign-out and expires with the session.

A strictly necessary cookie of this kind does not require consent, because without it the sign-in you asked for cannot work.

Preferences remembered in your browser

Where the site remembers something small for your convenience — a dismissed notice, for instance — it is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. Clearing your site data removes it.

Some pages embed material hosted by other companies. When that content loads, the company providing it may set cookies under its own policy, which we do not control:

• Google Maps — the location map on the contact page.
• Instagram and YouTube — social and video content on the news and media pages.
• Retail partners— Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and BigBasket, once you follow a “buy” link and leave this site.

Read those companies' own cookie notices for the detail. If you would rather they set nothing, block third-party cookies in your browser or avoid the embedded content.

Rather than track visitors with cookies, we rely on ordinary server logs — the time of a request, the URL, the response code and the browser's user agent — and on a short-lived, in-memory record of the IP addresses hitting our forms, so a single source cannot flood them. Neither is used to profile you. See the Privacy Policy for how long each is kept.

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings — usually under Privacy or Site settings. You can also browse this site in a private window.

Blocking cookies here costs you nothing as a visitor: every public page works fully without them. Blocking them only prevents our own staff from signing in to the admin panel.

If we ever add analytics or another non-essential cookie, we will update this page and ask for your consent before it is set. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
